EDINBURGH'S star reserve Kalle Katajisto escaped without serious injury from a crash at Glasgow - but he will miss his country's World Cup meeting on Monday.
Katajisto had feared a broken foot or ankle in the accident which was triggered when his team-mate Tobias Busch and the Tigers' Lee Dicken collided. His place in the Finnish team at King's Lynn will be taken by Scunthorpe's Tero Aarnio
Monarchs co-promoter Alex Harkess said: "We are delighted with the news, he is very important to us. He might have to miss a match or two but it shouldn’t be a long absence.”
