TOP dog Kenneth Bjerre has backed recent signing Norbert Kosciuch to boost Peterborough’s play-off bid.
The Panthers face chief rivals Swindon tonight in the first of three crucial home matches that could decide the club’s title hopes.
Peterborough are currently fourth in the Elite League – just one place and one point ahead of the Robins who are their major threat to clinching a top four slot and a passport to the end of season play-offs.
Bjerre, who has been in brilliant form all season, said: “Obviously we are battling for fourth place at the moment and it’s hard at the top.
“First and foremost, we need to make sure we make the play-offs. We’re strong enough to beat anybody at home and the play-offs are all over two legs, so if we can get in the top four who knows what might happen.”
